• Safely operate the automated fertilizer blending system (Ranco) and related computer systems.
• Analyze batch sheets and enter accurate data to produce high-quality fertilizer loads.
• Collaborate with floor personnel to ensure continuous, efficient system operation with minimal downtime.
• Monitor and adjust system functions (motor speeds, current levels, hopper calibration) to ensure precise ingredient distribution.
• Communicate critical blend data to fertilizer team members via radio.
• Partner with office staff to track inventory levels and prevent material outages.
• Operate and oversee bagging systems for both bulk and 50 lb. production.
• Troubleshoot system issues and identify production inefficiencies or disruptions.

• Ability to learn and operate complex automated systems, specifically the Ranco blending system.
• Strong understanding of, or ability to develop knowledge of, fertilizer products and ingredients.
• Attention to detail with the ability to match formulas to tag requirements.
• Problem‑solving skills to diagnose and resolve system or production issues.
• Strong communication skills for coordination across production and office teams.
• Ability to quickly learn and independently use advanced technology and production equipment.
• Adaptability in a fast‑paced production environment.
