Job Brief

As an assembler, you will manually assemble electrical cables by cutting, stripping, connecting, and terminating wires according to specifications. You will read instructions, label wires, inspect finished products, follow safety practices, use testing equipment, and maintain a clean working area. The role requires the use of tools such as soldering irons, crimping tools, and heat guns, as well as quality‑control checks and proper interpretation of technical diagrams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Installation: Install wiring, components, and casings using wire strippers, cutters, hand drills, screwdrivers, and soldering equipment.
  • Reading and interpreting blueprints and schematics: Accurately understand wiring diagrams and assembly instructions to connect cables.
  • Cutting and stripping wires: Precisely measure and strip wire insulation to prepare for connections.
  • Soldering and crimping: Use soldering irons and crimping tools to securely connect wires to connectors.
  • Wire routing and labeling: Route wires within a cable harness and label them according to specifications.
  • Assembly of components: Put together electrical wires, components, units, and subassemblies.
  • Quality inspection: Thoroughly test finished assemblies, ensuring functionality and adherence to quality standards; inspect chandelier glass for defects.
  • Packing & shipping: Prepare and ship orders, palletize, lift boxes up to 25 lb, and keep the warehouse organized.
