Industrial Maintenance Mechanic
Compensation$26.82 - $29.81 per hour (DOE & Certifications)
Night Shift Schedule12‑Hour (7:00 pm–7:00 am) Schedule
Typical schedule example:
Week 1:
Sun / Thu / Fri – (7:00 pm–7:00 am)
Week 2:
Mon / Tues / Wed / Sat – (7:00 pm–7:00 am)
This schedule allows every other weekend off while supporting 24/7 plant operations.
Prime Conduit, Inc. is seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Mechanic to support night shift operations at our manufacturing facility. This role is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing industrial production equipment to ensure safe and efficient plant operations.
If you have experience working with manufacturing equipment, extrusion machinery, PLC systems, and industrial maintenance, we encourage you to apply.
Maintenance or trade certification is preferred but not required.
Key Responsibilities- Perform preventive maintenance and lubrication on production machinery
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
- Assist production personnel with equipment troubleshooting and operational issues
- Inspect maintenance work to ensure quality and safety standards
- Maintain work orders, maintenance logs, and preventive maintenance records
- Assist with equipment installation and plant improvement projects
- Respond to urgent maintenance situations affecting production
- Monitor and maintain inventory of maintenance tools, parts, and supplies
- Maintain a clean and safe work area
- Follow all safety policies and PPE requirements
- Participate in training and skill development programs
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor
- Experience maintaining industrial or manufacturing equipment
- Experience troubleshooting mechanical or electrical equipment
- Familiarity with PLC‑controlled equipment
- Experience reading blueprints, schematics, or technical manuals
- Experience working in manufacturing, plastics, extrusion, or industrial environments
Education
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Technical certification or trade training preferred
Experience
- Minimum 5 years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
Skills
- Mechanical troubleshooting and repair
- Knowledge of industrial machinery and systems
- Ability to diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, or hydraulic issues
