Concrete Block Machine Operator

Maschmeyer Concrete Company of Florida is currently seeking a highly‑motivated and dependable Concrete Block Machine Operator to join our team at Concrete Block Production Plants in major cities throughout Florida.

• General mechanical experience (e.g., auto, machinery, heavy equipment)
• Experience operating production machinery and performing plant maintenance; preferred
• Experience leading small teams; preferred
• Experience with a Besser V312; preferred
• Effective communication skills
• Ability to manage time and prioritize tasks with little supervision
• Full availability required – 24/7 production facility

• Operate block machine to produce concrete block and building materials efficiently and safely.
• Change molds and monitor material levels to meet inventory needs.
• Inspect produced blocks and building materials for quality standards and inconsistencies, and make adjustments to maintain product quality when necessary.
• Lead and motivate team to perform work‑stoppage machine repairs with a sense of urgency.
• Perform preventative maintenance on production equipment to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.
• Troubleshoot basic mechanical issues and escalated when required.
• Ensure a safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols and procedures.
• Assist team with plant cleanliness.
