• Monitor field activities and operating equipment to ensure continuous, uninterrupted material flows.
• Perform area inspections and report unsafe conditions.
• Promote and follow all plant safety guidelines.
• Assist production employees by directing, coaching, supporting and delegating as required.
• May be required to work overtime, rotate shifts, unsociable hours, and respond to callouts.
• Monitor process equipment lubricant levels and operating conditions, reporting any perceived problems.
• Report housekeeping or material spill issues and take corrective action.
• Maintain material flows to meet product specifications.
• Ensure environmental compliance and report visual emissions.
• Work closely with the Control Room Operator to ensure accurate and complete communications.
• Operate process equipment within permitting limits at highest production levels.
• Assist the Production Supervisor and Control Room Operator with starting and stopping equipment.
• Conduct workplace inspections, housekeeping, first‑aid care, accident investigations, and other emergency duties.
• Complete departmental data logging and reports.
• Check equipment operation, lubricant levels, material availability, continuous material flows, and product quality.
• Analyze, interpret, and report numerical and verbal information to identify faults.
• Additional duties as assigned by supervisor.

• High school graduation or equivalent preferred.
• 1–3 years of work‑related experience.
• Ability to read, write, and understand warning labels and instructions.
• Physical ability to walk, climb, and work in confined spaces.
• Mechanical, welding, and machinist skills preferred.
• Ability to drive and operate equipment such as front‑end loaders, skid steers, forklifts, bobcats, etc.
• Basic mathematics skills.
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions and tolerate extreme heat and cold.
• Ability to work at elevations up to 50 feet.

The work is performed in a shop environment with outdoor exposure throughout the plant. Mandatory compliance with safety guidelines is required. The environment includes mild exposure to cement dust, heat, cold, and noise; exposure to elevations up to 250 feet; mandatory use of protective equipment.
