Systems Engineer
As a Senior Mission Systems Operator, you will be a key leader in mission‑critical operations, guiding the use of sophisticated sensor systems to achieve strategic objectives. You will perform high‑level mission planning, advanced data interpretation, and operational execution while collaborating with multiple stakeholders to drive mission success and innovation.
Responsibilities- Oversee and direct complex airborne missions using RADAR and MX‑15 systems.
- Lead advanced data analysis and provide strategic insights.
- Mentor and develop a team of operators.
- Collaborate with mission leaders to optimize operational strategies.
- Ensure compliance with high‑level safety and operational standards.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field of study.
- 6+ years of experience in a related field, or 10+ years of experience if a degree is not held.
- Expert understanding of sensor technologies (RADAR, MX‑15).
- Advanced experience with Crew Resource Management (CRM) and Airmanship.
- 1,000+ hours of flight time knowledge of the ARC‑231.
- Advanced knowledge of Small Secure Datalink (SSDL) radio functionality.
- Experience with the practical application of RADAR Theory and MX15HD
i camera technology. - Ability to deploy for extended periods to various OCONUS operating locations and meet current DoD and Combatant Command deployment requirements.
- Successfully pass a pre‑deployment medical assessment.
- Willingness to work extended hours, holidays, and shift schedules as required.
- Current, valid passport and ability to obtain a visa to travel internationally.
- Willing to deploy OCONUS on an approximate 60/60 rotation.
- Master’s degree in Aerospace, Engineering, or a related field.
- Leadership experience in mission‑critical operations.
- Advanced certifications in sensor technology operations.
- Maritime experience.
- Background in the Aerospace and Defense Industry, the U.S. Department of Defense, or U.S. Military.
- Experience with Windows
10 Falcon View or Force Map technology. - Prior experience as a CRM/Organizational Resource Management (ORM) instructor.
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs regularly.
- Ability to be on feet for extended periods.
- Regular use of a computer.
- Ability to work in potentially loud environments.
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally as required.
- Ability to work in an office or hybrid environment.
