Join the B & M Precision team in Ruskin, Florida that strives to provide the highest quality products to our customers at a minimum cost.
New hires will train on 1st shift and then switch to 2nd shift schedule of:
- Monday - Thursday (5:15 pm - 2:45 am)
- Friday (1 pm - 5 pm)
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: (Training period is at the discretion of B&M Management)
- Trained in the operation of CNC machines (Mills, Lathes & Swiss)
- Set up manufacturing equipment, in reasonable time, using documented procedures, to produce quality products
- Trained to read blueprints for product specifications such as dimensions and tolerances
- Starts machine to obtain first run work piece and verifies dimensional tolerances
- Operating high-speed sophisticated machines by managing settings and conducting tests to ensure a successful operation in the production process
- Trained to use precision measuring tools necessary for the inspection of parts produced by each operation
Qualifications:
- Have a good knowledge of mechanical devices
- Must wear assigned PPE (Personal Protection Equipment) according to the area’s safety requirements
- Must be capable to operate all necessary equipment within the assigned department (or area where cross-trained) and work successfully within a repetitive manufacturing environment
- Ability to read and understand technical manuals and blueprints (We will teach you how, must have aptitude to learn)
- Must be able to pass a drug screen and background check
Education:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
