CNC Mill Operator

As a CNC Mill Operator, you'll play a crucial role in our production process, utilizing your expertise to create critical components for the healthcare sector.

Responsibilities
  • Set up, operate, and maintain CNC milling machines to produce precision parts according to blueprints and specifications.
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and G-code.
  • Perform in-process inspections using precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges) to ensure parts meet quality standards.
  • Monitor machine operations, making adjustments as needed to maintain part accuracy and quality.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve minor machine issues and perform routine maintenance.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety protocols and quality procedures.
  • Collaborate with engineers and other team members to optimize production processes.
  • Document production activities, including completed work, scrap, and machine downtime.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience as a CNC Mill Operator in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong understanding of CNC machine operation, tooling, and setups.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Experience with precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, bore gauges).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Knowledge of medical device manufacturing standards (e.g., ISO 13485, FDA regulations) is a plus.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or certification in machining is preferred.

Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $20.00 - $24.00
