Mechanical Assembly - Magnetics

Perform the assembly work of the mechanical structures to produce current and power transformers.

First shift M-F 7:00 am to 3:30 p.m.

• High school diploma or GED; or 1-3 months or more related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Read work instructions, do math calculations, and use associated tools to perform the work tasks.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals in English.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds throughout the 8 hour shift.

• Read production diagrams and production sheets instructions for assembly.
• Proficiency in the use of tools needed for the mechanical assembly of the products.
• Solder terminals to magnet wire.
• Check transformer for exposed wires.
• Clean transformers after resin process.
• Complete the final assembly including placing hardware on finished products.
• Be able to lift to 50 lbs.
• Follow safety rules, instructions, guidelines, and procedures.

• This is not a remote position.
• Quiet to moderate noise in a production environment
• Temp to perm position.

$18.00 - $21.00 per hour (DOE)
