We’re looking for a creative, organized Recruitment Social Media Assistant to help elevate our Linked In presence, bring our employer brand to life, and support our recruitment communications across channels. You’ll create and schedule content, engage with our audience, track results, and support our newsletter and website updates so more people can Love What YOU DO at FSU.

What You’ll Do Linked In Ownership- Plan, draft, and schedule Linked In posts that highlight people, roles, career paths, events, and key hiring moments.
- Maintain a weekly content calendar aligned to recruiting priorities, campaigns, and seasonality.
- Engage in comments and direct messages with timely, professional responses and simple escalation paths.
- Source stories and visuals across campus partners; obtain approvals and ensure brand alignment.
- Track performance weekly and monthly. Recommend optimizations to improve reach, engagement, and applicant flow.
- Help translate our employer brand pillars into everyday content ideas, spotlights, and visuals.
- Assist with light photo/video capture, basic editing, and asset organization.
- Maintain a shareable content library and simple style guardrails for consistency.
- Partner on a monthly recruiting newsletter: outline, draft, gather wins, events, jobs-to-watch, and team features.
- Build and format the newsletter in the approved platform. Test links and deliverability.
- Monitor performance metrics and suggest subject lines and formats that improve opens and clicks.
- Post and update recruiting‑focused web content, including team profiles, role spotlights, and candidate resources.
- Ensure pages are current, link correctly, and reflect the most relevant opportunities.
- Coordinate with web partners on simple UX improvements and A/B tests when appropriate.
- Own a simple dashboard for channel health: followers, impressions, engagement rates, top posts, click‑throughs, and traffic to key jobs.
- Capture campaign performance summaries and insights for monthly reporting.
- Document playbooks, templates, posting checklists, and routing/approvals to keep operations smooth.
- High school diploma or equivalency and 1 year of experience.
- Strong writing skills with a crisp, friendly tone and attention to detail.
- Comfort creating social content and working within a content calendar.
- Basic visual editing skills (Canva, Adobe Express, or similar).
- Ability to prioritize, follow a process, and meet deadlines with minimal hand holding.
- Curiosity, professionalism, and willingness to learn new tools and workflows.
- Experience managing a Linked In Page or creating content for a brand, student org, or campus initiative.
- Familiarity with simple analytics and reporting.
- Basic knowledge of website content updates (Word Press, Drupal, or similar CMS).
- Light photo/video capture and editing skills for short‑form content.
- A steady, on‑brand Linked In drumbeat that increases reach and engagement month over month.
- Clear, timely responses to comments and messages that reflect our voice.
- A reliable monthly newsletter with strong open and click rates.
- Fresh, accurate, and helpful recruiting web content.
- Simple, useful dashboards and monthly insights that guide next steps.
- Linked In Page tools and scheduling software
- Canva or Adobe Express
- Basic CMS for website updates
- Microsoft 365 (Word, PowerPoint, Excel), Share Point
- Optional:
Power BI or similar for dashboards
- This is an OPS/temporary job.
- Based on the duties, this position may require completion of a criminal history background check.
Pay commensurate with experience. - Part‑time, up to 20 hours per week.
- Position may be extended based on operational needs.
