Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Sales and Marketing Specialist role based in Sarasota, FL. The specialist will promote Hot Works Fine Art Shows, manage outreach to potential exhibitors, sponsors, and attendees, and support ticket and booth sales. Day‑to‑day responsibilities include developing and implementing marketing campaigns, maintaining relationships with artists and partners, handling inquiries, and providing excellent customer service before, during, and after events.

The role involves coordinating promotional materials, assisting with on‑site event support, monitoring marketing performance, and preparing reports on sales and engagement. The specialist will collaborate closely with leadership to grow event attendance, enhance brand visibility, and identify new revenue opportunities.

Qualifications
  • Candidates should possess strong communication skills, including clear verbal and written communication, presentation ability, and active listening.
  • Candidates should possess customer service skills focused on responsiveness, professionalism, and creating positive experiences for artists, sponsors, and attendees.
  • Candidates should possess sales skills such as lead generation, prospecting, negotiation, and closing sales for exhibitors, sponsors, and event partners.
  • Candidates should possess training and sales management skills, including onboarding new team members or volunteers, guiding sales practices, and supporting performance improvement.
  • Additional beneficial qualifications include experience in event marketing or arts‑related organizations, familiarity with digital marketing and social media, strong organizational and time‑management skills, and proficiency in common office and CRM software.
  • An associate or bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, Arts Management, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience, is preferred.
