Reporting directly to the VP, Content & Platforms, the Creative Director leads a high-performing creative team while partnering cross-functionally to originate bold campaign ideas and deliver best-in-class creative that grows fan engagement and global reach.

WHAT YOU’LL DO
  • Lead the evolution of the LPGA’s visual identity to reflect a modern, athlete-first, culturally relevant brand
  • Own and direct the end-to-end creative strategy from concepting through execution
  • Build and lead a high-performing creative team and culture
  • Originate and develop creative concepts for major campaigns and tentpole moments
  • Ensure consistency of brand expression across all platforms
  • Partner cross-functionally across social, content, partnerships, broadcast, and BI teams
  • Translate cultural moments and fan insights into proactive creative strategies
  • Oversee workflows, production pipelines, and team output
  • Direct art direction for video, photography, and design
  • Manage vendors, agencies, and freelancers
  • Oversee print production and quality control
  • Integrate AI and emerging tools into creative workflows
  • Other duties as assigned
WHO YOU ARE
  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Creative Direction, Marketing, or related field
  • 7–10+ years of progressive experience in creative, design, or brand roles, with 3–5+ years leading teams
  • Proven ability to concept and lead breakthrough creative campaigns—not just execute briefs
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating excellence across digital, social, video, and brand systems
  • Experience leading cross-functional creative initiatives across content, partnerships, and media teams
  • Deep understanding of cultural trends, fandom, and storytelling in sports, media, or entertainment
  • Demonstrated success building and scaling creative teams and workflows
  • Fluency in modern creative tools, including Adobe Creative Suite; experience with motion/video tools (Premiere, After Effects) preferred
  • Familiarity with AI-powered creative tools and emerging technologies impacting design and content creation
  • Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and events as needed
