Location: Tallahassee
The Deputy Communications Director serves as the alternate spokesperson for the Agency for Persons with Disabilities, reporting to the Communications Director. The role manages media relations, writes and edits press releases and communications materials, oversees social media strategy, and coordinates external events and stakeholder communications for agency leadership.
Key qualifications:- Experience managing social media accounts for an organization
- Experience as a spokesperson
- Experience with writing, editing and oral communication
- 2 or more years' experience in Communications and/or Public Relations
- Bachelor's Degree in related field OR 4 years of experience in a related field
