· Salary: $42,000 - $45,000

Job Functions: This position provides intensive employment case management to families that are being serviced through the Pasco residential program.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Completes an employment assessment of all clients entering the Pasco Residential Program seeking employment by identifying their knowledge, skills, abilities and needs. Ensures assessments of client’s education, work experience, skills, abilities, qualifications, and job interest; assesses client readiness for job referral, classroom training, on-the-job training, and support services; attempts to match clients with available employment, or other opportunities/services with collaborating agencies.
  • Coordinates and manages a full array of employment services including, employment assessment, vocational assessment, job readiness skill-building, guidance, job placement, mentorship and follow up with collaboration with County, Connections Job Development Programs and Career Source. Refers clients to appropriate services based on their needs.
  • Works as a partner with Pasco County community employment resources and partnerships and attends all partner meetings. Cultivates relationships with employers, fosters current relationships with employment partners, and acts as a liaison between clients and employment partners.
  • Conducts job development and job search activities directed toward positions that are individualized to the interests and uniqueness of the people on his/her caseload. Provides individualized follow-along support to assist clients in maintaining employment.
  • Coach clients to develop job retention strategies with goals of obtaining soft and hard skills, helping clients to obtain higher paying jobs and create sustainable career paths.
  • Develops and facilitates employment classes in residential program weekly.
  • Provide transportation to employment related activities and other agency related events as assigned.
  • Keep detailed records of every case, client visit, referral and contacts with resources on client’s behalf. Ensure that records, reports, and documentation are created promptly. Safeguards client confidentiality and ensures that all records are accurate and objective.
  • Generates and compiles client outcomes and reports within Service point and Excel for reporting to funders for program.
  • Provides training to Interns ensuring that proper case management guidelines are being followed.
  • Participate in Metropolitan Ministries’ holiday efforts. Participate in Bridge Builders and other fundraising events when needed.
  • Work with residential team to assist clients in meeting self-sufficiency employment goals. Support the team in other tasks as assigned and attend all team meetings. Meet personal goals and actively contribute to the achievement of the team and organizational targets/goals as measured by Key Performance Indicators and in the annual plan.
