The Program Director serves as the program operations lead for Boys & Girls Club of Collier County Bolch Campus and its satellite sites in Immokalee. This position is responsible for the daily leadership, supervision, coordination, and evaluation of all Immokalee Club youth programming while ensuring the successful delivery of safe, high‑quality, outcome‑driven services for children and teens ages 5–18.

Working closely with the Area Director, the Program Director oversees program quality, daily operations, staff development, facility scheduling, member engagement, and continuous improvement across all Core Program Areas. The Program Director directly supervises the Academic Specialist, Health & Wellness Coordinator, Athletics Specialist, Teen Initiatives Manager, and assigned program staff. Through the supervision of the Academic Specialist, this position also provides operational oversight of the Rise & Shine Before‑School Program implemented at multiple satellite sites throughout Immokalee.

This position works in close partnership with the Program Director, 21st Century Community Learning Centers (CCLC), and with the Program Director, Nichols Campus in Naples. Together, the Program Directors provide coordinated leadership for youth programming across the community, collaborating on staff development, program quality, professional learning, operational planning, family engagement, safety, special events, and organizational initiatives. While each position maintains responsibility for its respective programs, both roles share a commitment to ensuring a seamless, high‑quality experience for youth, families, and staff across all operations.

The Program Director fosters a culture of excellence, accountability, collaboration, innovation, and positive youth development while ensuring programs align with the mission, strategic priorities, and quality standards of Boys & Girls Club of Collier County.

Qualifications Education & Experience
  • Degree in Education, Youth Development, Recreation, Human Services, Business Administration, Nonprofit Management, or a related field preferred; AND
  • Five (5) or more years of progressively responsible experience in youth development, education, recreation, nonprofit management, or a related field; AND
  • Three (3) or more years of supervisory or management experience with responsibility for leading staff, coordinating operations, and implementing high‑quality programs: OR
  • An equivalent combination of education, professional experience, and demonstrated leadership in youth development, education, recreation, nonprofit management, or a related field will be considered.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Experience managing multiple programs, departments, or teams in a dynamic, fast‑paced environment is strongly preferred.
  • Experience with Boys & Girls Clubs or other youth-serving organizations is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of positive youth development principles and evidence‑based programming.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead multiple teams while balancing competing operational priorities.
  • Excellent leadership, organizational, project management, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Ability to coach, mentor, and develop supervisors and frontline staff.
  • Experience using data and performance metrics to drive continuous improvement and operational decision‑making.
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to build collaborative relationships with youth, families, staff, schools, volunteers, and community partners.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and organizational data management systems.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish or English/Creole preferred.
  • Current CPR and First Aid Certification, or ability to obtain within 90 days of employment.
  • Valid Florida driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
  • Ability to meet the organization’s insurance requirements for operating Club vehicles.
  • Successful completion of all required background screenings in accordance with organizational, state, and federal requirements.
