Community Engagement Manager

The American National Red Cross seeks a Community Engagement Manager to build and deepen relationships with local communities, volunteers, and partners. In this role, you will plan and lead outreach initiatives, coordinate volunteer engagement, and support blood drives, preparedness trainings, and disaster response activities. You'll collaborate with internal teams and community leaders to expand awareness of Red Cross services, track program impact, and ensure inclusive, culturally responsive engagement that advances our humanitarian mission.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute community outreach and engagement strategies that support Red Cross programs and services.
• Recruit, train, and coordinate volunteers for events, blood drives, and disaster preparedness activities.
• Build and maintain partnerships with community organizations, schools, faith-based groups, and local leaders.
• Plan and manage community events, presentations, and campaigns to increase awareness and participation.
• Track, evaluate, and report on engagement metrics to inform program improvements and demonstrate impact.
• Collaborate with internal teams to align local engagement efforts with national humanitarian priorities.
