Community Engagement Manager

The Community Engagement Manager at the American National Red Cross leads outreach initiatives that connect local communities with critical humanitarian services. This role develops and implements engagement strategies, builds partnerships with community organizations, and promotes volunteerism to support blood drives, disaster response, and health and safety programs. The manager coordinates events, trains and supports volunteers, and collaborates across internal teams to increase participation and awareness.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement community engagement and outreach strategies to support Red Cross programs.
• Recruit, train, and coordinate volunteers for blood drives, disaster response, and community events.
• Build and maintain partnerships with community organizations, schools, businesses, and local leaders.
• Plan and execute community events, information sessions, and presentations to promote services and volunteerism.
• Collaborate with internal teams to align engagement activities with organizational goals and campaigns.
• Track, analyze, and report on engagement metrics, volunteer participation, and program outcomes.
• Ensure inclusive, culturally responsive outreach to diverse and underserved communities.
• Manage communication materials and basic social media or email outreach related to community initiatives.
