Cooperidge Consulting Firm is seeking a Neurology Registered Nurse (RN) for a top Healthcare client. This specialized role is responsible for delivering high‑quality, patient‑centered care to individuals with neurological conditions, utilizing established nursing models to provide personalized, comprehensive, and compassionate treatment. The RN acts as a vital advocate for patients and families, collaborating with the medical team to ensure outstanding patient experiences and positive clinical outcomes within the specialty department.

• Assess the neurological and general condition of the patient during admission and each shift, promptly identifying and reporting subtle changes in status.
• Perform procedures, monitoring, and other functions ordered by medical providers, ensuring thorough and timely documentation in the medical record.
• Administer prescribed medications, monitor the patient for therapeutic and unintended responses, and take appropriate clinical action.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers about the medical condition, treatment plan, and follow‑up measures, translating complex neurological terminology for clear understanding.
• Provide exceptional care by responding promptly to patient requests and proactively anticipating patient needs and concerns.
• Act as an advocate for patients, families, and caregivers, embodying the organization's vision, mission, and values.
• Collaborate effectively with the interdisciplinary care team to follow established nursing models such as "Assess, Perform, Teach, and Manage."

• Associate Degree in Nursing or RN Diploma is Required.
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing is Preferred.

• Minimum of one (1) year of RECENT (within the last 4 years) Acute Care RN experience is required.
• Prior experience in a Neurology or Neuro‑Med Surg unit is highly desirable (implied by the job title).

• Currently licensed as a Registered Professional Nurse in the state(s) of practice and/or holds an active compact license, in accordance with law and regulation.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.

• Proven ability to make clinical assessments and manage care autonomously in alignment with the "Assess, Perform, Teach, and Manage" model.
• Strong professional communication and patient advocacy skills.
• Ability to translate complex medical terminology for patient and caregiver education.
