OBGYN Licensed Practical Nurse; LPN

Adecco Healthcare & Life Sciences is assisting our client in hiring a dedicated OBGYN Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in Bradenton, Florida. This is a full-time, onsite position offering a supportive outpatient women's health environment.

Position Details

Type: Full-time, direct hire

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (no weekends or holidays)

Pay: $26.00 – $30.00 per hour, based on experience

Location: Onsite in Bradenton FL

Responsibilities

· Obtain and document vital signs, medical histories, and patient interviews for obstetric and gynecologic patients

· Assist OBGYN providers with exams and procedures, including pelvic exams, Pap smears, prenatal visits, post-op care, suture removal, and patient education

· Prepare patients for examinations and procedures while ensuring comfort, privacy, and dignity

· Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and clinical staff to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care

· Triage patients in person and by phone, providing appropriate clinical guidance and accurate documentation

· Administer medications and immunizations per provider orders and established protocols

· Complete medication prior authorizations, DME requests, and referrals in a timely manner

· Perform EKGs, phlebotomy, and lab processing as required

· Maintain accurate patient charts, reports, logs, and OB/GYN-specific medical forms (proof of pregnancy, work excuses, prenatal documentation, etc.)

· Ensure provider orders are communicated to appropriate departments and followed through

· Maintain positive, professional communication with providers, supervisors, and peers

· Adhere to medication administration policies, infection control standards, and HIPAA regulations

· Float to other clinic locations as needed to support patient care and clinic operations

· Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

· Active, unrestricted Florida LPN license

· Current BLS certification (AHA, American Red Cross, or American Safety and Health Institute)

· 1+ year of LPN experience (women's health, OBGYN, or outpatient clinic experience preferred)

· Strong knowledge of OB/GYN workflows, prenatal care, and women's health assessments

· Ability to multitask in a fast-paced clinical environment

· Willingness to float to alternate locations with short notice
