Position Overview
The RN ECMO Program Coordinator supports and coordinates the development, implementation, and daily operations of the ECMO program at a large acute care hospital. This role works closely with perfusion services, mechanical circulatory support teams, and critical care cardiovascular staff to ensure high-quality patient outcomes and program excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Support ECMO program development and operations
- Collaborate with ICU, cardiovascular, and perfusion teams
- Ensure compliance with clinical standards and best practices
- Assist in coordination of mechanical circulatory support services
- Active Florida RN license (or Compact License eligible for Florida)
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
- BLS certification (required within 30 days of hire)
- ACLS certification (required within 30 days of hire)
- ECMO experience preferred
- Experienced ICU nurses seeking ECMO transition encouraged to apply
