Some of your Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Job

Responsibilities include:

  • Admissions, Discharge, and Transfers of residents
  • Medication requisitions with pharmacy and physicians
  • Medication administration
  • Following infection control, emergencies, and other center policies
  • Collaborating with residents' interdisciplinary team to provide the best outcomes
  • Identifying and reporting all abnormal changes in residents’ condition to proper personnel per center policy
  • Working under direct supervision in accordance with the state-specific Nurse Practice Act, facility Policies and Procedures, and nursing judgment
  • Delivering nursing care to patients/residents requiring long-term or rehabilitative care
  • Collecting patient/resident data, making observations, and reporting pertinent information related to the care of the patient/resident
  • Implementing the patient/resident plan of care and evaluating the patient/resident response, according to state-specific regulations
  • Directing and supervising caregiving by other nursing personnel in selected situations, in accordance with state-specific regulations
  • Maintaining knowledge of necessary documentation requirements
  • Maintaining knowledge of equipment setup, maintenance, and use, e.g., monitors, infusion devices, drain devices, etc.
  • Maintaining confidentiality and patient/resident rights regarding all patient/resident/personnel information
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) licensed by the State
  • CPR Certification required
  • Two Years prior nursing experience preferred
