Registered Nurse (RN) – 6 PM – 6:30 AM Shift (Full‑time)

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurses to serve as Full‑time 3rd shift (overnight) RNs at Hawthorne Center for Rehabilitation and Healing of Sarasota. The role requires Florida AHCA Clearinghouse background screening.

• Full‑time, 3rd Shift: 6:00 PM – 6:30 AM.
• Work 3 days a week, 12‑hour shifts, alternating weekends.
• Shift Differentials:
  Weekday +$3/hour;
  Weekend +$2/hour.
• Competitive starting rates.

• Work within the Nurse Practice Act, facility policies and procedures, applying sound nursing judgment.
• Assess, plan, and evaluate nursing care for residents requiring long‑term and/or rehabilitation care.
• Deliver nursing care to patients/residents requiring long‑term and/or rehabilitative care.
• Implement and evaluate patient/resident plans of care, and adjust as necessary.
• Direct and supervise nursing personnel providing care.
• Contribute to the formulation and evaluation of standards of care.
• Maintain documentation and knowledge of documentation requirements.
• Maintain knowledge of equipment set‑up, maintenance and use (e.g., monitors, infusion devices, drainage devices).
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with patient/resident rights.
• Provide patient/resident/family/caregiver education as required.
• Present oneself professionally in compliance with unit and facility policies.
• Work rotating shifts, holidays, and weekends as scheduled.

• Graduate of a basic education program in professional nursing.
• Minimum of one year medical/surgical nursing experience in an acute care or long‑term care setting (acute/critical care preferred).
• Current Registered Nurse license in the state(s) of practice and reliable transportation.
