Med Telemetry Neuro RN

A 288-bed acute-care hospital in Tallahassee, FL is seeking a Registered Nurse for its Medical Telemetry Neurology unit. The facility offers a broad range of specialty services and provides 24/7 emergency services to the surrounding region.

In this position, you will provide care for patients requiring close monitoring and frequent clinical assessments, making autonomous treatment decisions based on ongoing evaluation of patient status. You will serve as an advocate for patients and families, protecting privacy and confidentiality throughout the care experience. The role includes educating patients and families on medications and treatment plans, and contributing to a collaborative team environment focused on continuous quality improvement.

• 1+ years of acute care ICU or PCU experience required
• Florida RN license and/or approved multistate RN license required. Compact license holders have 60 days to obtain the Florida license after relocation.
• BLS required
• ACLS required within 6 months of hire
• NIHSS stroke certification required within 30 days
• BSN is preferred
• CCRN a plus but must be obtained within 2 years

Nights, 7p–7a with rotating weekends.

$30.89 - $43.25/hr plus $15,000 sign-on bonus
