Registered Nurse (RN) – Full‑time Overnight Shift

Location:

Hawthorne Center for Rehabilitation and Healing of Sarasota – 5381 Desoto Rd, Sarasota, FL 34243.

• Full‑time, 3rd shift available (6 PM – 6:30 AM); work 3 days, 12 hours, every other weekend.
• Shift differentials:
  Weekday + $3/hour;
  Weekend + $2/hour.

• Work within the Nurse Practice Act, facility policies, and sound nursing judgment.
• Assess, plan, and evaluate nursing care for patients/residents requiring long‑term and/or rehabilitation care.
• Deliver nursing care to such patients/residents.
• Implement and evaluate the patient/resident plan of care and response.
• Direct and supervise care provided by other nursing personnel.
• Contribute to formulation and evaluation of care standards.
• Maintain knowledge of documentation requirements and equipment usage.
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with patient/resident rights.
• Provide education to patients/residents, families, and caregivers as appropriate.
• Conduct oneself professionally in compliance with unit and facility policies.
• Work rotating shifts, holidays, and weekends as scheduled.

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Minimum one year of medical/surgical or acute care nursing experience, preferably in long‑term or acute care settings.
• Current RN license in the state of practice; reliable transportation.
