Embrace an impactful opportunity as a Registered Nurse specializing in Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) care on a contract basis. This assignment offers the chance to work alongside skilled clinicians in a progressive hospital setting recognized for its commitment to excellence in patient care and advanced surgical services.
Schedule:
- 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM
- Current and unrestricted RN license
- Minimum of 2 years recent experience in CVOR or cardiac surgery nursing
- Proven expertise in pre-, intra-, and post-op CVOR procedures
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Exceptional communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care before, during, and after cardiovascular surgical procedures
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical techs to maintain a safe and efficient OR
- Monitor patient status and respond to changes with clinical judgment and prompt interventions
- Maintain accurate patient documentation and adhere to infection prevention protocols
- Ensure equipment readiness and assist with troubleshooting during procedures
- Support and educate patients and their families regarding procedure expectations and recovery
- Dynamic clinical environment with exposure to state-of-the-art cardiac and vascular surgeries
