Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) Staff Development Coordinator to join our long-term care team. This role is responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering education and training programs to ensure staff competency and compliance with all state, federal, and facility regulations. The ideal candidate is a strong leader with a passion for education, quality improvement, and resident care.

8:00 am- 4:30 pm
- Coordinate, develop, and implement staff education and training programs
- Conduct new employee orientation for nursing staff
- Plan and deliver in-service education on clinical skills, safety, infection control, and regulatory updates
- Ensure compliance with CMS guidelines and Florida state regulations
- Maintain accurate records of employee certifications, licenses, and training
- Monitor staff performance and identify areas for improvement
- Assist with survey preparation and participate in regulatory inspections
- Support quality assurance and performance improvement (QAPI) initiatives
- Provide coaching, mentoring, and leadership support to clinical staff
- Collaborate with department heads to ensure consistent high-quality care
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Florida
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in long-term care
- Previous experience in staff education, infection control, or supervision preferred
- Knowledge of CMS regulations and long-term care compliance standards
- Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills
- Ability to present educational material effectively
Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems preferred
Experience- Nurse management: 1 year (Preferred)
