Academic Alliance in Dermatology, in affiliation with Anne Arundel Dermatology
, is seeking an experienced Dermatology Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with prior general dermatology experience to join our team. This full-time opportunity is based exclusively in our Hudson office and offers a consistent four-day schedule, working Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday. This position provides an excellent opportunity to join a well-established practice with a strong support team while delivering high-quality dermatologic care to the community.
- Ordering, performing, and interpreting diagnostic tests such as biopsies and lab work.
- Diagnosing and treating acute and chronic skin disorders and conditions. Prescribing medications and other treatments when needed.
- Managing patients' overall care.
- Promote a professional and welcoming atmosphere that enhances the quality of service and care our patients deserve.
- Review all new client intake forms, and document client treatments and plans of care.
- Build patient partnerships by appropriately matching patient needs to the various services and products offered and clearly educating the patient on how they will receive the most benefit.
- Attend/conduct in-house training programs.
- Minimum of 2 years of dermatology experience as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
- Committed to delivering efficient, high-quality care in a team-based environment
- Interest in building long-term patient relationships and contributing to practice growth
- Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
- Current Board Certification as NP or PA
- Active and unrestricted Florida medical license (or ability to obtain)
- Current Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) registration
