Position
Registered Nurse – Cardiovascular Day Surgery (Full‑Time Day Shift) at Baylor Heart and Vascular Hospital.
Job Overview• Fast‑paced cardiovascular day surgery unit with high‑acuity patients.
• Patient population: pre‑operative and post‑operative patients undergoing procedures in the Cardiac Cath Lab, Electrophysiology Lab, and Vascular Surgery operating rooms.
• Nurse‑to‑patient ratio 1:3.
• Opportunity to assist with bedside procedures and ultrasound‑guided IV insertion.
Responsibilities- Provide perioperative nursing care to cardiovascular patients throughout surgical procedures.
- Assist with bedside procedures and ultrasound‑guided IV insertion.
- Support fast‑paced environment teams, fostering learning, mentoring, and team collaboration.
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- Registered Nurse license.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, or obtain within 30 days.
- Minimum 2 years RN experience, with cardiovascular experience preferred.
