Position SummaryThe Registered Nurse provides direct patient care in a hospital setting using the nursing process and established clinical standards. The RN collaborates with the interdisciplinary team, delegates appropriate care activities, and ensures safe, high-quality outcomes for observation patients.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care using evidence-based nursing practice
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to develop and update plans of care
- Delegate appropriate patient care activities to support staff
- Identify patient safety risks related to diagnosis, medications, procedures, and age
- Maintain professional accountability and ongoing development

- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- BLS certification
- Minimum 6 months RN acute care experience
