** Aviva Senior Living has a part-time opportunity for an experienced RN to join our team as a Weekend RN Supervisor.  The schedule will be 7a-7:30p, Saturdays & Sundays.  Sign-on bonus of $1,000!!
** The RN Supervisor is responsible for caring for the facility’s residents, families, co-workers.  The primary purpose of the position is to provide direct nursing care to the residents, and to supervise the day-to-day nursing activities performed by nursing assistants. Such supervision must be in accordance with current federal, state and local standards and guidelines and regulations that govern the facility, and as may be required by the Director of Nursing to ensure that the highest degree of quality care is maintained at all times.

The RN Supervisor is entrusted to provide innovative, responsible healthcare with the creation and implementation of new ideas and concepts that continually improve systems and processes to achieve superior results. All services need to be provided.
** Essential Functions include, but are not limited to:
*** Analyze, evaluate, and report the needs of the Residents appropriately.
* Coordinate, in cooperation with the Health Care Coordinator, ancillary health care and health education services for Residents.
* Identify Resident problems, concerns, or issues and provide appropriate follow-up to ensure resolution.
* Supervise direct care staff and monitor effective service delivery during assigned shift.
* Review Resident treatment and medication records to assure quality of care.
* Participate in the evaluation of CNAs;
Offer assistance and encouragement as needed.
* Complete required documentation in an accurate and timely manner.
* Act in compliance with regulatory and professional; standards and guidelines.
* Perform routine nursing services for residents as directed.
* Adhere to facility policies and procedures and participates in facility quality improvement and safety programs.
* Oversee Falls Program and Pressure Sore Program for those resident on their team.
* Participate with mentoring, and education of direct care staff as needed.
* Provide direct care and answer call lights during times when direct care staff are busy and as needed.
** Resident Rights**:
* Maintain the confidentiality of all resident care information including protected health information. Report known or suspected incidents of unauthorized disclosure of such information.
* Treat all residents fairly, and with kindness, dignity and respect.
* Ensure that all nursing care is provided in privacy.
* Knock before entering the resident’s room.## Qualifications
** Educational/Professional

Qualifications:

*** High School diploma/equivalent.
* Graduate/completion of approved/accredited school of nursing.
* Valid Florida license as an RN.
* Minimum one year nursing experience working as an RN with experience supervising direct care staff in a long-term assisted living is preferred.

Skills and Abilities

Required**:
* Knowledgeable of nursing and medical practices and procedures, as well as laws, regulations, and guidelines that pertain to nursing care facilities.
* Supportive team member, contribute to and be an example of teamwork and team concept through leading by example.
* Willing to seek out new methods and principles and be willing to incorporate them into existing nursing practices.
* Able to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.
* Able to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel, and the general public. Must possess the ability and willingness to work harmoniously with and supervise other personnel.
* Strong leadership by example and mentoring with compassion and dedication to excellence.
