• Develop and deliver engaging lessons aligned with state Health Science and CNA curriculum standards.
• Teach nursing assistant and allied health competencies through classroom, laboratory, and clinical instruction.
• Supervise students during clinical rotations and hands‑on learning experiences.
• Evaluate student performance using assessments, skills checklists, projects, and industry standards.
• Prepare students for industry certifications such as CNA or related healthcare credentials.
• Maintain accurate attendance, grades, clinical records, and student competency documentation.
• Promote professionalism, communication, teamwork, and ethical behavior in healthcare settings.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, HIPAA, infection control, and school safety regulations.
• Coordinate with healthcare partners for clinical placements and career experiences.
• Participate in faculty meetings, professional development, advisory committees, and school activities.
• Maintain current nursing licensure and instructional certifications as required.

• A Bachelor's degree in nursing or related healthcare field and two years of clinical nursing experience.
• Current unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) or equivalent license.

• Experience working with adolescents or teaching/training adults.
• Knowledge of healthcare industry standards and clinical procedures.
• Strong classroom management, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to integrate technology into instruction.
• Experience with simulation labs and clinical instruction.
• Ability to build partnerships with healthcare facilities and community organizations.
• Commitment to student success, career readiness, and workforce development.
