The Wound care Nurse is responsible for the provision of identified wound care assessments, education, and treatment of patients deemed appropriate. This includes collection of wound care specific PI data and involvement in wound care related projects and programs as deemed necessary. The Wound care Nurse is responsible for implementing and monitoring programs and services related to wound care. This position is responsible for promoting teamwork with physicians and other healthcare providers.

• Provide wound care assessments, education, and treatment for patients deemed appropriate.
• Collect wound care specific PI data and participate in wound care projects and programs as needed.
• Implement and monitor wound care programs and services.
• Promote teamwork with physicians and other healthcare providers.

• Wound care certification preferred.
• Current Florida license as Registered Nurse or Recognized Compact Licensure (subject to Florida licensing requirements).
• One year nursing experience preferred.
• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support certification or must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
