This is a full-time, on-site APRN/PA role based in Crawfordville, FL. The APRN/PA will provide direct patient care in an primary/urgent care setting, including performing comprehensive assessments, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, establishing diagnoses, and developing evidence-based treatment plans. Daily responsibilities include managing common acute conditions and minor injuries, prescribing medications, performing basic procedures such as complete physicals for all ages of patients, lab and medication review, wound care, splinting, and incision and drainage, and coordinating follow-up care as needed.

The role involves collaborating with physicians, nurses, and other team members to ensure safe, efficient, and compassionate care. The APRN/PA will also document all encounters in the electronic health record, provide patient education on diagnoses and treatment plans, and support clinic operations such as triage and workflow optimization.

• Current licensure as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) or Physician Assistant (PA) in the state of Florida, with appropriate national certification (e.g., FNP, ANP, PA-C).
• Demonstrated competency in urgent care, family practice, emergency medicine, or a related clinical setting, including assessment, diagnosis, and management of common acute conditions.
• Proficiency in ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests (labs, imaging, point-of-care testing) and integrating findings into treatment plans.
• Comfort with minor procedures such as wound care and closure, splinting, abscess management, and basic orthopedic or musculoskeletal care.
• Strong clinical judgment, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities in a fast-paced environment.
• Effective, inclusive communication skills with patients, families, and multidisciplinary colleagues, including clear patient education and counseling.
• Experience using electronic health records and maintaining accurate, timely documentation.
• Ability to work independently within scope of practice while collaborating closely with supervising or collaborating physicians.
• CPR/BLS certification required; ACLS and/or PALS certification preferred.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends, based on clinic needs.
