Location: Jasper
Position Overview
We are currently seeking a full-time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) (Medical) to join the team at the Hamilton Correctional Institution in Jasper, Florida, under the Florida Department of Corrections.
Key Responsibilities- Provide holistic nursing care within the scope of practice to incarcerated patients.
- Work under the direction of Registered Nurses (RN) and medical and psychiatric staff.
- Respond to a range of physical and behavioral health needs.
Day shift – 3 12‑hour shifts per week.
Qualifications- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license or the ability to obtain one.
- Active Cardio‑Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification.
- Ability to obtain security clearance, including drug screen and criminal background check.
