POSITION SUMMARY:
Delivers professional and technical nursing care to patients presenting to the Cath Lab for diagnostic and therapeutic care.
Nursing care delivered complies with the objectives and policies of the hospital. Adheres to the monitoring of and compliance to
all licensing and regulatory agency guidelines, including but not limited to TJC, ACHA, OSHA, CMS, DCF, etc.. Utilizes the
nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation when delivering nursing care. Prepares equipment
and assists physician during treatment and examination of patients. The professional nurse must possess strong critical thinking
skills and the ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Is available for "on call" 24 hours/7 days/week, including
weekends and holidays.
- Current FL RN License
- Education:
Technical School/2 years college/Associates Degree - Current BLS Certification
- Current ACLS Certification
- Basic Arrhythmia Skills
- Completion of Critical Care course preferred
- Ability to communicate in English
