Nurse Practitioner – Workplace Primary Care (PRN)
Onsite | Clearwater, FL Overview
PRN NP role providing onsite primary care for City of Clearwater employees. Coverage needed during provider PTO.
Schedule- PRN
- Clinic hours:
Monday–Friday, 6:45 AM–5:15 PM - Must be able to cover full clinic hours when needed
- Provide primary care in an employer‑based clinic
- Deliver episodic and low‑acuity urgent care
- Manage short‑term acute care follow‑ups
- Perform CLIA‑waived tests and dispense medications
- Conduct biometric screenings and wellness education
- Provide one‑on‑one health coaching
- Collaborate with HR/Benefits and clinic care team
- Active Autonomous NP license in Florida (required)
- DEA license and prescriptive authority
- 2+ years of independent NP experience in internal medicine or family practice
- Strong primary care background; women’s health experience preferred
- Chronic disease management experience preferred
- EHR experience; EPIC a plus
- Strong interpersonal and customer‑focused communication
- Reliable attendance and ability to cover clinic hours
