Vet Next Door is hiring a Veterinary Technician or Veterinary Assistant to join our family-owned, companion animal practice in Parrish, Florida.

Location & FacilitiesOur clinic is fully equipped to support high-quality medicine and efficient workflow:
- Cloud-based veterinary software (Vetspire)
- AI medical scribe for record-keeping and client communication
- Electric lift tables in exam rooms, treatment, surgery, radiology, and dentistry
- IDEXX in-house diagnostics (CBC, chemistry, urinalysis, cytology)
- Digital radiography & dental radiography
- Ultrasound and echocardiography
- 4K cytology training display via Trinocular microscope
- Central oxygen and scavenging system
- After-hours cleaning service
- Patient intake, handling, and restraint
- Vaccine administration and treatments
- Phlebotomy and laboratory testing
- Radiograph positioning and imaging
- Patient monitoring and nursing care
- Client education and discharge instructions
- Medical record keeping and documentation
- General hospital maintenance
- IV catheter placement
- Surgical assistance
- Anesthesia induction and monitoring
- Dental prophylaxis and dental radiography
- Appointment scheduling, phone support, inventory management, controlled substance logging, and staff training
- Veterinary experience preferred (technician or assistant)
- Credentialed veterinary technicians will be utilized to their full scope and act as team leaders for surgical and hospitalized patients as well as emergencies and client communication
