Walton County Animal Clinic has been part of the DeFuniak Springs community for nearly 40 years. We’re a small animal practice known for strong client relationships, practical medicine, and a team that genuinely enjoys working together. Here, you’re trusted to practice medicine the way you were trained—while living close enough to Florida’s Emerald Coast to enjoy beach days on your time off.
We’re looking for an Associate DVM who values collaboration, appreciates independence in medical decision-making, and wants to be part of a practice that still feels personal.

Provide medical care to small animal patients
Perform routine examinations, diagnostics, and treatments
Conduct routine soft tissue surgery and dentistry
Develop and explain treatment plans to clients
Maintain accurate medical records
Collaborate with technicians and support staff
DVM or equivalent degree from an accredited veterinary school
Active Florida veterinary license or ability to obtain
Experience preferred
Comfortable with routine surgery and dentistry
Strong communication and teamwork skills
