Welcome to Oxford Animal Hospital!

Our privately owned state-of-the-artclinic wasestablishedin 2019, and we love to serve the bustling, rapidly growing community of The Villages, Florida.

We are looking to add a positive and motivated Associate Veterinarian to our close-knit teamwho play an integral part in our practice andcareabout our visionand values.

Our mission at Oxford Animal Hospital is tomaintaincompassionate and ethical standards when caring for our patients and clientele so that we can makepositive, long-term impressions on the lives we care for, both animal and human. We commit toprotectinganimal health by ensuringtimelycommunication, education, and compassion with everything that we do.

We schedule 30-minute appointments to allow the focus and attention needed for each patient while also equipping our clients with the knowledge needed to make informed decisions about their loved one’s care. The ideal candidate has strong clientrelationskills that will support our values while building long-term bonding relationships with our clientstofurther foster the human-animal bond.

Alongside our experienced nursing team, we are looking forstrongcommunicationskills to help lead and directworkflowto ensure time isutilizedefficiently, and effectively. We work hard to support our team and create a cultural environment that breeds growth, positivity, and collaboration.

We strongly advocate for a work-life balance and understand the importance of family time, which is whyour practice is open Monday through Friday, with no weekend or on-call hours.

What we are looking for:
  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine, or equivalent from an accredited University
  • Current DEA license and active State license
  • A proficiency AND love for general medicine and surgery
