Role- Park Heights Animal Care Center is Hiring a Veterinary Technician!
- Role: Experienced or Licensed Veterinary Technician
- Status: Full-time
- Salary: Negotiable based on experience
- Schedule: Mon-Fri 8:30 am-5:30 pm

Examination Technician Role & ResponsibilitiesWe are looking for a skilled, compassionate Exam Room technician to join our team. You will be the primary contact between the clients, patients, and veterinarians.
Key Responsibilities- Client Communication:
Greet clients, obtain detailed medical histories, and discuss preventive care recommendations. - Patient Handling:
Safely restrain, handle, and comfort animals during examinations, we use fear-free techniques for all pets. - Clinical Procedures:
Perform blood draws, collect urine/fecal samples, administer vaccines, place IV catheters, ear cleaning, and anal gland expression are a few of the duties you will perform. - Efficiency:
Prepare the exam room, ensure necessary supplies are ready, and facilitate smooth, timely appointments. - Client
Education:
Provide information regarding pet nutrition, parasite prevention, and medication administration.
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a veterinary clinical setting required.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in venipuncture and animal handling.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask.
