Position: Front Desk Associate - Palm City
Location: Palm City

Starting Rate

Starting rate: $14.00/hour; $0.50 increase 6 months after hire date; additional $0.50 increase on annual anniversary date.

Essential Functions of the Front Desk Associate
  • Welcome pet parents and their pets ("guests") with smiles and conversation.
  • Organize and process check‑ins and check‑outs.
  • Walk four‑legged friends for drop‑off and pickup and coordinate suite placement.
  • Answer incoming phone calls, listen and respond to voicemails, and respond to emails promptly.
  • Complete cashier and point‑of‑sale operations.
  • Communicate and follow through with pet parent and resort leadership requests.
  • Maintain cleanliness of entrance way, lobby, and restrooms.
  • Maintain, clean, and support the cat room per resort routines.
  • Act as liaison to veterinary service team; manage veterinary appointment status and arrivals.
  • Take off and put on harnesses at check‑in and check‑out.
  • Ensure suites are set up for each pet.
  • Be familiar with different types of harnesses.
Qualifications
  • One to two years in a customer‑service role (customer service, call center, receptionist).
  • Detail‑oriented with a sense of urgency while providing exceptional customer service.
  • Cheerful, friendly, and positive team‑oriented attitude.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; attention to detail, especially in documentation.
  • Enjoys problem solving to provide guests and customers with a premier experience.
  • Physical labor: pet handling, walking, and standing for long periods.
  • Comfortable around dogs of all sizes and able to lift up to 60 lbs.
  • Flexible to resort schedule needs including days, nights, weekends, holidays, and peak times.
