Heartland Veterinary Partners' Externship Program aims to provide 1st-4th year veterinary students with hands-on experience and mentorship to prepare them to be 'practice ready' by their first day in practice.
Externships typically last 2 weeks, and Heartland will cover lodging costs if needed.
The length of the externship is flexible, and we can support your preceptorship documentation as well.

Qualifications:
Eligibility
- Must be currently enrolled in an AVMA-accredited veterinary school.
- Must be able to provide student PLIT.
