Relief Veterinarian

We are seeking a Relief Veterinarian to cover shifts at our hospital. If you are an experienced vet, more recent graduate, or someone interested in venturing into relief, we want to hear from you! A variety of different shifts are available to accommodate all kinds of schedules. The ideal candidate must be able to multitask in a fast-paced environment and have a positive, professional, and team-oriented attitude.

Excellent client communication and high-quality medicine is required.

• Veterinarian's role in the clinic is a position of leadership, trust, and respect and shall conduct themselves accordingly
• Promote the human-animal bond through exceptional client experience
• Manage multiple patients and varying priorities within allotted time frames

• DVM/VMD degree from an AVMA accredited college (or successful completion of the ECFVG or PAVE program)
• Active license in good standing to practice in the state in which candidate will be working

Shepherd Spring Animal Hospital is a multi-doctor general practice located in Crawfordville, FL, just 30 minutes south of Tallahassee along the Wakulla River. We opened our hospital to serve the needs of pet owners and animals in our community, from dogs and cats to exotics, including birds and reptiles. We even support sea turtles that are found stranded or injured in our area!

We have full in-house diagnostics laboratory, digital radiography, ultrasound, and offer laser therapy and stem cell therapy! We take great pride in our efforts to make our patients' lives better and enjoy mentoring and training the next generation of veterinary medical professionals.
