Park Foreman

The Town of Palm Beach is seeking a Park Foreman to lead daily operations and maintenance of municipal parks and public grounds. This role supervises grounds crews, coordinates landscaping, turf care, irrigation, tree maintenance, and facility upkeep to ensure clean, safe, and attractive public spaces. The Park Foreman plans and assigns work, inspects sites, operates and oversees equipment, manages supplies, and enforces safety standards.

As part of a service-oriented, community-focused team, this position responds to resident needs, supports special events, and helps maintain the high-quality environment expected in a premier coastal community.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily operations and maintenance of Town parks, grounds, and recreational areas
• Schedule, assign, and oversee work of grounds crews and contractors
• Inspect parks, facilities, and equipment to ensure safety, cleanliness, and appearance standards
• Coordinate landscaping, irrigation, turf care, tree maintenance, and seasonal projects
• Operate and oversee use of vehicles, power equipment, and maintenance tools
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, Town policies, and environmental standards
• Monitor inventory and request supplies, materials, and equipment repairs
• Train, coach, and evaluate staff; support performance and development
• Assist in developing work plans, budgets, and project timelines
• Respond to resident inquiries, work orders, and special event support needs
