At Sarasota Memorial Hospital, a nationally recognized, 5-star rated hospital for overall quality and safety year after year, we’re hiring two Biomedical Equipment Technicians to support the technology behind patient care.

$28.25–$42.35/hr bonus available for experienced candidates.

Monday–Friday | 7:30am–4:00pm. Sarasota, Florida.

• Maintain and repair critical medical equipment used in patient care.
• Troubleshoot advanced diagnostic and therapeutic devices.
• Support networked hospital systems (monitors, telemetry, nurse call, imaging support systems).
• Collaborate with clinical teams to ensure equipment safety and reliability.
• Keep life‑saving technology operating 24/7.

• Associate degree in Electronics or Biomedical Engineering (or equivalent military training).
• 2+ years of progressively complex experience in hospital‑based biomedical equipment support (or 4+ years servicing complex electronic systems considered).
• Experience with troubleshooting electronic systems.
• Familiarity with Windows and basic networking.
• Strong attention to detail and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to obtain Level 2 AHCA clearance.
• Flexibility to work shifts or weekends if required.

• Valid Driver's License.
