Leasing Agent Wanted – Downtown Living Meets Downtown Office
Location: Downtown (Mid-Rise Building)
Pay: $21–$23/hr
License: No real estate license required
Schedule: Full-Time
About the RoleWe're looking for a BOLD, high-energy Leasing Agent who can sell ice to an eskimo and isn't afraid to prove it. Our downtown mid-rise property features a mix of residential apartments and office space
, so we need someone versatile — comfortable talking lease terms with a young professional moving into their first apartment one minute, and pitching office space to a growing business the next.
If you thrive on closing deals, love people, and want a role where every day looks a little different, this is for you.
What You'll Do- Show and lease apartment units and office spaces to prospective tenants
- Guide prospects through the entire leasing process — tours, applications, lease signing
- Manage lease renewals and lease-up/turnover for expiring residential leases
- Build genuine relationships with prospects to turn walk-ins and inquiries into signed leases
- Maintain accurate leasing records, applications, and unit/office availability
- Follow up on leads via phone, email, and text — persistence pays off
- Represent the building professionally; you're often the first impression for new tenants and businesses
- Stay flexible and pitch in wherever needed as our commercial/residential mix grows
- Required: Proven experience with apartment lease-ups (leasing newly available or turning units)
- A natural closer — confident, persuasive, and comfortable asking for the sale
- Strong communication skills across resident and business-tenant audiences
- Flexibility and eagerness to learn office/commercial leasing (training provided)
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to juggle multiple leads and deadlines
- No real estate license needed — we just need drive and results
- Competitive hourly pay: $21–$23/hr
- Work in a modern, downtown mid-rise — walkable location, easy access to transit
- Variety: no two days look the same between residential and commercial leasing
- Room to grow into commercial/office leasing expertise
