Location: Tallahassee
The Operations and Management Consultant Manager supervises closing staff for real property acquisitions, exchanges, and donations within the Florida Department of Environmental Protection's Division of State Lands. This position manages the closing process, coordinates with staff and external stakeholders, administers statewide real estate contracts, and ensures compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. The role is located in Tallahassee, Florida and reports to the Bureau Chief.
Keyqualifications:
- Knowledge of real property acquisition, including appraisal, closings, and management principles
- Knowledge of state and federal laws and regulations concerning land acquisition
- Ability to supervise, work independently, and exercise sound judgment in land acquisition and management processes
- Skilled in computer operation and capable of analyzing data to develop recommendations
- Ability to read and interpret contracts, maps, title commitments, and legal documents
- Valid driver's license required
