Job Description:
The Leasing Consultant serves as the primary point of contact for prospective and current residents. This role involves marketing available units, conducting property tours, processing lease applications, preparing lease agreements, and ensuring a positive resident experience while helping achieve occupancy goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet and assist prospective residents in person, by phone, and online.
Conduct property tours and highlight community amenities and features.
Respond promptly to leasing inquiries and follow up with prospects.
Process rental applications, verify documentation, and screen applicants.
Prepare lease agreements and explain lease terms and community policies.
Maintain accurate leasing records and resident files.
Assist with lease renewals and resident retention initiatives.
Coordinate move-in and move-out procedures.
Address resident concerns and communicate maintenance requests.
Help market the property through social media, community outreach, and advertising.
Ensure the leasing office and model units are clean, organized, and welcoming.
Meet monthly leasing, occupancy, and renewal goals.
Qualifications:
High school diploma.
Previous experience in leasing, sales, customer service, or property management preferred.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Excellent customer service and sales abilities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and property management software (e.g., Yardi, Entrata, One Site).Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays as needed.

Work Environment:
Primarily office-based within an apartment community.
Frequent walking during property tours.
