To be a great fit, you should have experience similar to:

• Demonstrating crop expertise for assigned crops, including crop production knowledge, market and farming knowledge, and industry trends, to inform breeding and marketing strategies.
• Creating and managing strategic trial plans for assigned crops or regions presented during the pre‑trial planning meeting.
• Managing the pre‑trial planning meeting, providing completed pre‑trial documents that drive conversations.
• Working directly with the RTSGC to validate trial plans via the Resource Planner tool, communicating resource needs to breeding teams.
• Reviewing Resource Planner work orders with RTSGC after validation during each semestral campaign.
• Managing off‑station screening trials by leading grower meetings to finalize R&D trial agreements prior to transplant or sowing.
• Overseeing sowing in greenhouses or direct sows, monitoring seedling health, recording germination for breeding teams, preparing plot labels, managing transplant and evaluation.
• Communicating with the breeding team throughout the trial lifecycle, providing updates according to the pre‑trial plan schedule.
• Pre‑loading data into the SCORE tool for trials.
• Supporting breeding teams and PM in updating and maintaining current Product Profiles for assigned crops.
• Collecting and sharing market information for assigned crops, including acreage, market characteristics, value, main competitors, and competitor variety strengths and weaknesses.
• Representing the RTS team at invited HMC and LVS sponsored events.

To be considered, you will need:

• BA or BS degree in Agriculture or a related field.
• 4–6 years of trialing experience, working with growers, and regional vegetable crop production and crop management experience.
