Busperson​/Food Runner Art Ovation Hotel

Shaner Hotels invites applications for a Food and Beverage role at the Art Ovation Hotel in Sarasota, Florida. This position involves assisting servers, maintaining service quality, and ensuring compliance with food safety standards.

• Be available to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and varied shifts.
• Ensure compliance with all daily operational procedures by the Food and Beverage Department.
• Maintain food and beverage safety and quality based on hotel, Shaner, and Franchise specifications.
• Ensure communication with General Manager, all other Department Managers, Supervisors, and Staff.
• Assist server in providing quality food and beverage service to guests, according to hotel specifications, courteously and efficiently. Maintain cleanliness of tables, service areas, and equipment. Stock all wares and equipment needed for service.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Previous guest relations and/or training experience.
• Ability to satisfactorily communicate with guests, management, and co-workers.
• Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.
• Knowledge of local activities and attractions appropriate for clientele.
